I don't mind the gore but I would wish more some tactics and formation introduced as sapiens grow/learn, skills to train(not just combat but also in other domains like farming, wood chopping hunting, ect.), physical attributes like skinny=fast for hunting, xp multiplier and so on.
As for mods, yeah I would not hope much, for example, for me the game is very similar to Going Medieval and when you compare it, Going Medieval has a bunch of interesting things more to play with then Sapiens but when you look how many mods are there for Going Medieval, its not that much, you can count it on your fingers, and what will Sapiens bring to the table when hits EA to attract the mod community? very little I assume. It will take a long time until modders start working on sapiens.
Yes, Clanfolk is awesome! :-)) I've had that one on my wishlist for a long time and was literally counting down the days (that and Dinkum also came out this week!!). I'd just like to at least see options for games like this (i.e.
Intelligent games with potential depth and innovation) to be played without combat.
